Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% Jul 10–Mon, 2.5% since Jan 1
MOSCOW, Jul 18 (PRIME) -- Russian consumer prices increased 0.1% from July 10 through Monday, and inflation reached 2.5% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for millet grew 1.1%, for poultry 1%, for cooked sausage 0.3%, for sunflower seed oil 0.2%. Prices for eggs decreased 1.1%, for sugar and buckwheat 0.2%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables dropped 1.7% on average.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained almost flat.
